Friday 18th September 2015 to Monday 21st September 2015

On 17th September 1955 three MGA EX182 Le Mans cars raced at Dundrod in Northern Ireland in the RAC Golden Jubilee Tourist Trophy Race, in what was Round 5 of the World Sports Car Championship.

There were factory teams from Mercedes, Jaguar, Aston Martin Martin and Porsche as well as MG, with top drivers including Sterling Moss, Mike Hawthorne and Fangio.

As part of the 60th Anniversary of the MGA and to mark this event we will return to Dundrod in September 2015.

The event will be supported by the MGCC MGA Register, MGCC Ulster Centre, MG Enthusiasts Club ROI and the MGOCNI.

We will be based at the Dunsilly Hotel in Antrim. They offer a two or three night package to include dinner and breakfast with a Gala Dinner on Sunday, with an option to stay longer for those travelling from further afield.

Saturday19th September 2015

Drive the famous Antrim Coast Road, tour the Glens and visit the Giant’s Causeway, World Heritage Site.

Sunday 20th September 2015

At the Dundrod Circuit, with use of the Paddock and circuit tour. We hope to have use of a new club house which will be built by then.

Monday 21st September 2015 

Option of either Ards Tourist Trophy Circuit/Mourne Mountains tour or a visit to the award winning Titanic Exhibition in Belfast.

We have 30 rooms available at the Dunsilly now for advanced booking. The minimum stay is two nights (Saturday and Sunday) the cost of which based on two sharing is £253 pounds, dinner bed and breakfast including the Gala Dinner on Sunday. Each extra night is £97. Single occupancy £68 per night. Those not wishing to stay may attend the Gala Dinner at a cost of £27.50 a head.

Already down to come is the recreation 1955 BMC Competitions Transporter which has been seen at Le Mans Classic, Goodwood and other events. This will be its first trip to Ireland and it will be bringing the ex-works, ex Fitzwilliam race car EX182/38 LBL 301.

Also there will be the ex-works Twin Cam Coupe RMO 101, which was famously campaigned by BMC team captain John Gott.
